know your ancestors. know yourself.

As the seasons shift and the veil between worlds grows thin, we’re invited to slow down — to listen — and to connect with our roots.

Your ancestors are closer than you realize, ready to guide and strengthen you.

Over three days together, you’ll honor their stories, feel their presence, and draw on the resilience that flows through your lineage.

  • Daily live sessions on Zoom (watch your inbox for the link each day) at 10 AM MT/12pm ET Monday, October 27 – Wednesday, October 29 - a replay will be sent to you afterward
  • Guided reflections and meditations to help you connect with your ancestors
  • Simple tools for discovering their stories — even if you don’t know where to start
  • Companion workbook (will be emailed to all who register before we start)

I hope you'll join us! This is an invitation to remember who you are and where you come from.

I believe our stories don’t begin with us—they begin with those who came before. On my podcast, Know Your Ancestors, I share solo episodes about generational trauma, the power of family stories, and how to discover more about your lineage.

I also invite guests who bring unique perspectives on why our ancestors matter and how their lives still affect us today. Sometimes I even get to do research on a guest’s own family line and share the stories I uncover.

If you’re curious about your roots, want to heal family patterns, or simply love hearing meaningful stories, you’ll feel right at home here.

Hi! I'm Megan Hillyer

--- Holistic Genealogist and Ancestral Story Weaver

I’m a wife, a mom to seven amazing kids, and I live in the beautiful prairies of Alberta, Canada. Family has always been at the center of my life, and so has the desire to understand where we come from.

For the past seven years, I’ve been teaching and guiding others in family history research. In 2020, I earned my degree in Family History Research, and since then I’ve combined both professional training and personal passion to help people discover their roots.

Through my work, I’ve seen how uncovering our ancestors’ stories not only connects us to the past but also brings healing, belonging, and strength into the present.
